I was looking for a picture of Bloom County’s basselope and a nation had it as their national animal. After a look around I stayed.
I was on GameFAQS, some jerk told the LUE forum about this site. I checked it out and signed up 10 minutes later.

A forum I used to post on had a link to this site and a ton of people joined up at that time. Geez, its hard to believe how long ago that was.
The people from The Conclave Message Board (http://www.theconclave.tk) started a region (naturally named The Conclave). I decided to come here, and have since become so addicted to the game that I've made two other nations (and have an idea for a fourth but haven't implemented it yet).

Someone posted a "sticky" on the Glenn Beck message board and linked it to the homepage. I spent nearly two months running a country before I checked out the forums...now i'm sorry that I did...there's a lot of influencing that needs [as I se it of course] to get done around here!
