No, this is not a Monty Python thread so quit you're whining. Alright, then.
I wouldn't mind advice on my conlang (if you can even call it that). I've been working on it (albeit lazily) for the past couple of months, and since then I've created a vocabulary of nearly 100 words or so, and I have a grammatical structure-thing already established, and I've settled upon it. I have I believe a 36-letter alphabet (I'd have to check it but MY computer isn't at this place that I'm at).
Here is some of my structures:
All nouns end in 'i', 'é', 'ô', and 'ì'.
All conjunctions end in 'u'
All prepositions end in any consonant
All adjectives end in 'a'
All adverbs end in 'o'
Verbs are formed by adding deme in front of a noun. Deme is the equivalent of -ing, in a sense.
Some words will have negative forms, and others neutral.
Verbs have past, present (which, unlike the others, requires no additional prefix), and future tenses
An example of a sentence, written with English words but following my conlang's rules (except for word endings):
Jane took the ball and gave it to Rob.
jane taldemegivemala (give used as noun; mala negator adjective; tal past tense) ballthe, and taldemegive (give used as noun) it to Rob.
First sentence written with English rules, second with my conlang's rules.
Any advice on where I should take it; any on things I should change?
Ah, and the language is called: matiga, meaning People's Language (not affiliated with communists in any way whatsoever).
