Ace Combat 5, The Unsung War, due out this fall according to the release lists i found at work, and the website

I think its going tot ake place in the same world as AC4, but im not sure, the nations names are diffrent but is epaks of "a war" having occured 15 years before hand

In anycase, it has CGI's, which is awesome, that site has several screens, and 3 trailers

I loved Ac4...our region has a Stonehenge type weapon, so does NYNJ and Raysia...and i know lotsa people on here use Agier Fleet ship names\

AC04: way too freaking easy

It was very fun, and very replayable... but it needed an instant action mode.

A got an S-Class on every mission on Ace difficulty... though for some reason, I never got to unlock all the paint jobs.

And I don't think I ever got S-Class on all the trials.

I heard rumors that it'll be online. Please let that be false! I don't want another waste like FFXI where I gotta wait for the next one

I never got any of the paintjob...couldnt figure it out...but, it WAS really easy, i think thats one of the reasons it was fun, its the ONLY game i've had for 2 years and still play....if i could find the damn thing....

yes, they are...and, like i said, its gonna have CGI...just like AC4 did in Japan

You can only get the paintjobs when you defeat a certain fighter pilot in the levels.

I regret paying the 60 bucks for the PC game... i regret the 80 hours I played and failed to see any sort of plot, and I am glad I never bothered to pay for a second month (15 bucks!)

It's not even an RPG! I was sorely dissappointed! There were no characters, no plot, no goals, no nothing! It was just an expensive chat room where people seek only to level up and follow walk throughs.

I want my money back, seriously.

The previews showed people partied together on RP quests, chatting in character... I saw nothing like that in game.

Online games DO have plots, but you arent propelled through it, you get it at your own pace, so, it can seem plotless. Its got a story, its just slow developing for diffrent people, and a lot fo the story depends on the otehr players
