Canadians and Europeans Sicken me!

19-05-2004, 21:35
I was on another message board today and yesterday, and I saw a bunch of Canadians and Europeans mocking the beheading of American Nick Berg, some ranted how they loved the taste of dead Americans. You bastards should be ashamed of yourselfs, I hope the ghost of all dead Americans haunt you forever!

Just because some people who come from Europe and Canada mocked the beheading of an american man doesnt mean that all Europeans and Canadians feel the same way. I personally was sickened when I heard of this atrocity and am equally disturbed as to the actions of these people you describe.
Dont judge 40 odd countries and 1 billion people on the actions of a few please, I find it highly insulting

I think the reason most people oppose war is that we don't like to see people die. So flip off, you know most people do not want this guy to die.

I think that this might happen soon enough, so I'm gonna bless this one with a "digga-digga-digga-digga-digga-digga-digga-digga-Dele...."
Nah, I'll not bother proclaiming it, but I think that it may happen. Perhaps you might consider that we Europeans and Canadians don't hold American actions in high regard, but i wouldn't curse you with a "may barbarians invade your nether regions"
Maybe if you targetted those specific people, and not Canada and Europe, this might stand a chance of not degrading to a flame war.

Perhaps you should discuss this subject with the people on the other message board that posted such horrible comments in the first place, instead of castegating the innocent people of this board.

Or would you like a pillow to go with your blanket statement?

I actually heard a convincing case for it being a fake.

Jesus, this thread is just as bad as the "Reasons Why The World Hates Americans" thread (which I'm pointedly ignoring). Look, if those Canadians and Europeans were actually mocking the death of someone, that means that they're individually sick and twisted, not that the entire nation of Canada or the many nations of Europe are collectively. What is this fascination with generalization? Is it because the idea of lots of people out there, each with an individual and unique viewpoint, is too confusing and upsetting so you have to lump everyone in with the bad apples? I'm sure some Canadians and Europeans do feel that way. Hell, some US citizens feel that way. None of them represent the majority, though, so stop generalizing.

Absolutely right.

BTW on the Nick Berg thread you'll see one of the people expressing horror at Berg's execution is none other than moderator Stephistan - a Canadian.

Smarten up Yeppers - you should know better than to muckrake like you have with this thread.
