Yeppers. It’s time for the final words on this forum. The last week or so I haven’t really tried logging on and to tell you the truth, I haven’t missed the NS server at all. Or general. Or anything else here. Except maybe some of you guys. :wink:

The time has come to move on. I have gotten to know a lot of really good people around here since I created my very first nation Westrogoticae almost one and a half year ago. Some I have lost contact with, some are still here, others I have contact with elsewhere. Funny, but I have never met anyone of you IRL, but I’d love to meet some of you over a beer or many!

What I am going to do now? Useful stuff I hope, like helping my girlfriend with her studies. Not spending so much time online (which is in a way very useful and educational, but I just read that men who sit too much have an 11% increased risk of getting prostate cancer, and no, I’m not going to give you a link. I read it on a Swedish news site. Believe it or not. :wink: ) But first of all an old university friend of mine will be visiting, so I guess five days of drinking and sightseeing in Vienna is on the schedule. But the main thing coming up soon I hope, is a new job. When I get it I’ll have to find a new apartment, because the flat I and my girlfriend live in is a bit small for two (even without the grand piano…).

Music is a great thing. I have no idea how it works, but when you hear some tune you really like, no matter if you have heard it before, your body hair stand up and salute. Isn’t that a reaction difficult to explain from any point of view? Did you ever wonder about how a bunch of vibrations in the air could make you react like that? Change this bunch of vibrations just a little bit and you feel nothing at all. A sack of mead to the person who can explain this phenomena!

I think the server has decreased the numbers of NS'ers and will be the downfall of NS. Not that that's something I want, but many of the regs have decided not to use NS anymore due to the time that it takes just to read and reply to posts. And if, when I post this, it comes up with "Server Hangup" I'll not be coming back myself!!! :evil: :evil:

BMV, without you, this place is just another overly moderated den of spammy drivel. This by far, is the saddest day in NS history. You have always added a special touch to this place, and your creativity is unmatched. I will always laugh when I think of the invasion, or buying a Cary Grant android/husband from you for my puppet Datura. You are one excellent rp'er, and you always made me laugh when I least expected it, and needed it the most. If I were admin here, I'd make a sticky of your best posts. They'd set an example for the kiddies. 8)
