For all you who grew up in the 80's. Who was your favorite GI Joe. I was a fan of Flint myself. He had a shotgun, he was pretty badassed, and Lady Jaye was totally into him.

I loved GI Joe (For anyone not living in the US, I believe this cartoon was called "Action Force"). For some reason, I liked the terrorist organization Cobra a little better than I liked the Joes. I liked Destro, The Baroness, Dr. Mindbender, the twins (can't remember their names), Zartan (sp?), Serpentor was okay, but probably my favorite of all was the great Cobra Commander (he was too funny!).
I would love to see the show again, though the movie was kinda cheezy (Cobra-la?) :D

The Baroness
I apparently have a thing for the Baroness look. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Snake Eyes, man. Snake Eyes! The best of the comic books was one where it featured Snake Eyes and had no dialog at all. I was never super happy with the Storm Shadow being his brother thing. It seemed too tacked on. ("I know, Storm Shadow is Snake Eye's brother...") I guess it's okay....
Wild Bill was cool, but I think that was because I wanted to fly a helicopter as a kid (the Air Wolf/Blue Thunder effect)
Snake Eyes all the way 8)
can't beat that

Oh yes. He was of course all red and yellow, and get this:he was a Joe! What in the hell are the Joes doing with a flamethrower guy??? That's a pretty savage weapon to be using.
His name was Blowtorch. Inventive, eh?
he was ejected from the Joes when they found a bunch of broken and scortched light bulbs in his locker.....
I made that last part up.

what a wonderful lesson to teach children "brutally burning your enemies alive is the best way to solve problems!"

The GI Joe cartoon was cheesey as hell, but when you're ten years old it was the coolest. I recently caught a couple of episodes on the Cartoon Network. Just like the A-Team, nobody got hurt or killed. All these lasers flying, tanks blowing up and planes being shot out of the sky - and everbody manages to jump out just in time. It was great!
