We had our baby girl in February and it's SO wonderful. The first weeks are exhausting, but once the baby begins to smile and respond to you - truly miraculous!

Dante, I just want to get this out while all these thoughts are fresh in my head!

I want to tell you how glad I am to finally see you so happy! These past few months were hell on us all, as we all fought to keep you above the surface. I am so proud that you did not give up on us......that you kept fighting for a future that I know was uncertain and seemingly futile to you!

But look where we are now! You are going to be a father and I am going to be a mother.....and we are still together! See......everything you wanted happened! I know you thought it never would, but it did, and many of us who really know you are so proud of you!

I want you to realize that we are aware your problems are not cured, even though you are happy now. I also want you to know, that those of us who have been through the good and the bad with you will still be here for you if you need to talk about anything. Please do not repress anything! If you need to talk, no matter how seemingly unimportant it is to you, please do, we do not mind.

Furthermore, and most importantly, I want you to know how much I love you! I want you to know that I love you more than anything, even if I seem exasperated and frustrated at times. I want you to realize that if I did not love you then I would not have stood by you these past few months. There was alot of negativity and insecurity in the air these past months, and anyone who really did not love or care about you would not have stayed by your side.

Also, I apologize for last night. That meeting probably made you very uncomforable and I am sorry. They were rude. But I took care of that. :wink:
