apparently same sex...legal relationships (I don't remember what they're called here- not marriage and not civil union) are allowed in Orleans Parish (new orleans) as well.
I played "The Game of Life" at this leadership retreat thing that I'm doing today and tomorrow, and the people in charge wouldn't let us have same sex marriages. YThe whole point was to teach us how it's hard to start off with less and very easy to start off with more. I thought it was stupid. It would be the hardest (to get married at least- which was one thing you had to do to finish the game) if you had no guys in your group.
I hate things like that
I don't want to go back again

I started a thread on this last night right after I blogged about it here. (http://incertus.blogspot.com) But I've since checked on the thread and it's deteriorated into the fundies vs the secularists, so we're probably better off that it has died.
