Ban all Smileys!

Reasons:
A. They look silly.
B. No-one in real life looks like them, especially this one: :lol:
C. That one looks like Botox treatment gone horribly wrong, plus being electricuted.
D. Writing how you feel is much better.
E. I'd rather somone replied (eg. on a forum, such as this, or an email, or messenger service, etc.) with an intelligent, or witty comeback instead of some idiotic yellow ball with one of it's eyes closed, to indicate "winking".

Can I write an intelligent, witty comeback and use a smiley? :?:
