I think I stopped watching after Phil Hartman died, and Sandker left, as did Mike Meyers....that was the last time I thought it was still funny.

I haven't started watching the show till January when Jennifer Aniston came on. So I have no clue what your talking about.

It may already be in summer re-run mode.
I believe "sweeps week" was last week so the rerun season is very close.

It's a Live Comedy show broadcasted from New York to the United States's West Coast.

They basically make fun of random things in our everday lives (politics, hollywood, urban life, etc.)

Not sure you'd enjoy it as much, it may even be confusing and not funny at all.

It's skit comedy, I'm not sure if you've seen kids in the hall either but that would be another show like it.

those were the best ones ever.
We all know the Dan Aykroyd - John Belushi - Bill Murray era was the best.

SNL sucks now a days....but I think we've already established that.

Oh, shut up!
Anyway, I thought one of the funniest skits last night was the very first one where they were making fun of John Kerry and George Bush. I loved it when the interviewer told Kerry he'd seen more natural smiles on pumpkins.

Agreed. The early-mid 90s, with Dana Carvey and Mike Myers and Phil Hartman and the like was also very good.

Not anymore now that they lost the contract and picked up that garbage show Mad TV...I most certainly miss the old SNL; the early 90s was the golden age of the show.
