if they can bring back family guy back can we bring strangers back?
from what I could tell it was operated on a shoe-string budget, if viacom was convinced it would be viable do you think they'd bring it back. and if so, what would it take to convince them?

Actually, I've heard that Amy Sedaris and the gang are filming new episodes, but I don't know if this is true or not.

they have such cult appeal that if they just made a few episodes per month they could make a resonable amount of money
I hope viacom brings them back

The problem, I heard, wasn't so much that Viacom didn't want to carry the show any longer, but that Amy Sedaris decided she didn't want to do it any more after the second season. Paul Dinello and Stephen Colbert also wanted to do other projects. Since those three were the main creative team behind the show and none of them particularly wanted to do another season at the time, it sort of got de facto cancelled. However, supposedly they're all interested in doing another season and are possibly even currently shooting episodes. This may just be the T.V. equivalent of vaporware, though.
