Cannot spell President, uses president when Presidential is intended, confuses through with threw and doesn't specify the US election. Hmm, not very old or not very proficient in English or deliberately appearing to be stupid. My vote is for the last. Anyone else want to vote on which category Long Live fits into?

$10 on 'Idiot'I doubt it, the threw/through thing is not
something native English readers confuse easily. Those who are just learning reading make the mistake and non-English readers who are have spoken the language without reading it much make it, but the spellings are different enough that native readers with any experience just don't accept it. You can find mangled versions of through like trough or threwgh, but not the threw/through confusion.

So you think that they're someone from a non-english speaking country? The use of 'Mom' makes me disagree, as this is a rather Americanised term but you maybe right.

Kerry is actually a Christian, as well. Of the Roman Catholic denomination, if I remember correctly. Strangely enough, he actually believes in usually seperating his religious beliefs from his political beliefs (on abortion, for instance).

"Mom" is pretty English speaking language oriented (not just America although more common here), but non-native English speakers does not exclude Americans - a significant portion of the US population are non-native speakers, a distinction it is often important to make. Further anyone who's English eposure is primarily through spoken English (either through conversation or watching TV and the movies) without much experience in written English is likely to use American terms like "mom" while writing at a pretty poor level. This doesn't mean they are young or unintelligent, merely that they are not familiar with the pecularities of written English. The thing that indicated a possible non-native speaker to me was the use of president instead of Presidential, English both spoken and written converts nouns to adjectives and doesn't have "strong" nouns like some languages do.

The use of "mom" in context indicates to me a "not very old" person, but I was writing my post when Long Live wrote it so I didn't factor that into my vote. I am now somewhat torn between "not very old" and "deliberately appearing to be stupid".

Honestly I am not satisfied with either candidate. I voted for Bush last election, but I am not happy with the restriction of important civil liberties after the 9-11 attacks, but I also have problems with Kerry, I dont like that he is pro choice, and I do not like that he wants to bring more local issues under federal control ( I have this problem with Bush, but on a lower number of issues) I think I will vote for Zell Miller, D-Georgia. I like that he is a Democrat backing Bush, not because I am fond of Bush[ I am not], but because it shows character that Miller will back a man who campaigned against him in 2000, while crossing party lines. He is my senator and a Darn good one at that.

I'm with idiocy, but I think that is due to the young age. 'Mum' is used in other english speaking countries, and from my experience overseas students I knew at school refered to their parents as 'mother and father' or 'my mother and father'.
