After researching about the latest Mortal Kombat game,
Mortal Kombat: Deception, I am thrilled to tell you the exciting character line-up in this latest kick-ass game!
It's coming out on PlayStation 2, so I'll be sure to get it some day!
Here are the twelve playable characters that are in the next game.
Ten of them should be familiar, and two are brand new.

Sub-Zero
Male- classic character
Original Debut: Mortal Kombat (as the same type of character, with the same moves. As revealed in the sequel, though, as many people know,
his namesake in the sequel is actually his younger brother.
Official Debut: Mortal Kombat II (because it is the younger brother, that has been the Sub-Zero character ever since this game, except in
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, which is a game about his older brother, the original Sub-Zero, in a story based on before
the first tournament. Also, both Sub-Zero's were together, in
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and Mortal Kombat Trilogy, which were games that brought together a lot of the characters, whether killed off, or not.
The original Sub-Zero, of course, is dead, but the younger brother one,
is very much still alive, and features in this latest game! Ice cool, indeed!)

Scorpion
Male- classic character
Debut: Mortal Kombat

Kenshi
Male- fairly new character
Debut: Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance

Sindel
Female- classic character
Debut: Mortal Kombat 3

Baraka
Male- classic character
Debut: Mortal Kombat II

Mileena
Female- classic character
Debut: Mortal Kombat II

Li Mei
Female- fairly new character
Debut: Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance

Bo Rai Cho
Male- fairly new character
Debut: Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance

Ermac
Male- classic character
Original Debut: Mortal Kombat (As a glitch of the Scorpion character, called 'Error Macro', Ermac for short. It is incredibly ultra-rare for that glitch to happen, but in a very few cases, the Scorpion sprite did turn from a Yellow costume into a Red costume, in a glitch that turned him into the inspiration for a Red Ninja character, with his own moves.
In Mortal Kombat, though, as a glitch, he was just basically a Red version of Scorpion, as it still performed all of Scorpions moves, like the sprite normally would in the original Yellow Ninja costume.
If you didn't know that before, then that makes me a pretty big fan of these games! I came accross it on the Internet,
and was pretty amazed to find that out!)
Official Debut: Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (the first game where he was an official character, with his own storyline and moves. As it goes, though, to keep with the tradition, he still had some of Scorpion's moves, anyway!)

Nightwolf
Male- classic character
Debut: Mortal Kombat 3

Ashra
Female- brand new character
Debut: Mortal Kombat: Deception

Hotaru
Male- brand new character
Debut: Mortal Kombat: Deception

Well, there you go!
Mortal Kombat: Deception looks like it'll be a spectacular game!
I can't wait! It's going to be..........outstanding............
Mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
