there is a way to list it i think... i know when i started i was about 1300, now i am listed as one of the oldest :-), i have a friend who was in the top 100 and is now under 17 (was 17 at last check)

Yeah, from the early days... I remember a server that wouldn't allow you anyway near the game to begin with. I wasn't too involved in great wars and such, but I do remember when the II forum was created. The first mods. The proposal list in the UN that used to be 50 pages long with proposals like "Who stole my pizza?!?"

I can't even go back to look at my posts, almost all are deleted. :( The ones who survived, well, those are in stickies and such.

ya i remember when mods arrived and *ruined* everything by censoring stuff on general... but didnt mod the NS forum... (bout then i quit for a while)

Funny things when you add mods to a site like this: all of a sudden you have lots things going on that wasn't really there before. I'm thinking about phenomena like Count Dickula and such, who obviously only come back because they're going to get deleted...

but the mods are now too entrenched... and it did get pretty bad before...

Ah, to remove all mods now would clearly be impossible, although it would be a nice experiment!

I have had this thought for a while now: What got really better in the forum since the mods arrived?

First, the moving of threads is a good thing, but it doesn't matter too much, because malplaced threads sink fast.

Second, the purge of the proposal list in the UN. It came a little late for me, because I lost interest in the UN before the purges started.

Third, I can't think of any third. People are flaming just as bad today as before if not even worse just because there are mods around. The mods haven't been able to change the manners of the players no matter how many players they have deleted. The removing of tubgirl and such pics is of course good, but those pics rarely travelled across the forum before the mods arrived. When they did, [violet] fixed it. I have no interest in invasions, so I can't judge that part of the game.

well invasions didnt exist before mods either... you couldnt get them to work properly then (or now truth be told)... (i have no interest in them either)... i never saw go@tze or tubgirl on this forum until mods arrived... UN well considering you cant remove a UN proposal once it is in force i quit... after all the socialist nations took it over... (does anyone who is currently a member of the UN know that slavery is compulsory for anyone on an income of less than 100,000 USD? That air is charged for? that it is against the law to have welfare? That all nations MUST maintain a stockpile of at least 10,000,000 nuclear warheads at all times?

Those were the days, when we controlled the UN :-)
