did yall see that shit where Major League Baseball wanted to put Spiderman 2 ads on the bases? That was fucked up. I am glad Bud Selig had a change of heart after he approved that horrible idea.

did yall see that shit where Major League Baseball wanted to put Spiderman 2 ads on the bases? That was f--- up. I am glad Bud Selig had a change of heart after he approved that horrible idea.I'm glad too--but Sony was equally responsible for pulling the ads. According to Rob Neyer at espn.com, one factor was the overwhelming opposition to the idea expressed by online polls at aol and espn. Score one for the little guys, huh?

People call baseball boring and stuff, and according to the TV ratings, thes public agrees. I love baseball because, (with the exception of the DH) it hasn't changed in a long time. Basketball added the 3 pointer and widened the lane, Football has added roughing the passer/kicker and screwed with the goal posts, and hockey fucks with the crease almost every other season, but baseball has been constant. I like that.
