Today I was looking at The Pacific to find some new coutries willing to join my region, when I noticed that there was sopme kind of mass destruction of countries, there were like, 7 or 8 countries that were destroyed in two minutes. :shock:
6 minutes ago: The Republic of Philmunists ceased to exist.
6 minutes ago: The Kingdom of Nakcn ceased to exist.
6 minutes ago: The Republic of Minezinger ceased to exist.
6 minutes ago: The Federation of Paul Rizzotto ceased to exist.
7 minutes ago: The Holy Republic of CVats ceased to exist.
7 minutes ago: The Empire of Thunderfuq ceased to exist.
7 minutes ago: The Republic of Kevarmia ceased to exist.
7 minutes ago: The Confederacy of New Angband ceased to exist.
I've only been at NS for about a week, so it could be normal for some of you, like a mass flaming or spamming, but I'm really confused by this.
Perhaps puppets? Or a coincidence of people not logging on?

Well the Pacific is huge. Maybe a huge number of people hadn't logged in for 30 days. Yet still it is a small percentage of the Pacific.

Hmm, puppets or deletion by a mod seem most likely. I found another case of this in The North Pacific too.

1 minute ago: The Free Land of North Naslek ceased to exist.
1 minute ago: The Democratic Republic of Prolog ceased to exist.
1 minute ago: The Holy Empire of The Plains of Snakes ceased to exist.
2 minutes ago: The Republic of Fesso est ceased to exist.
2 minutes ago: The Commonwealth of Russvegas ceased to exist.

I doubt that these are coincidences because even if it is a small percentage, I don't think that so many countries could've stopped using it within a few minutes. I think I'll be finding a lot more of these over time. Oh well, I'll just have to get used to it. Of course, there could be a more sinister plot going beneath the surface of Nation States :twisted: . Mwahahahaha.

I think that one of the daily updates is a timeout update. So a load of inactive nations get swept up all in one go. I have previously seen each Pacific lose 50 nations simultaneously.
