Three jobs--I'm a poet on a fellowship (which isn't really a job, but I get paid for it, so I list it), I'm currently a research assistant for a preofessor at Stanford (yet another reason to spend hours on the internet), and I work as a valet parking attendant a couple of nights a week.

I do not. I will after I get back from Germany this summer. I will also move out soon after I get a job. Then I will further my understanding of life. I am sure as hell glad I am no longer a communist, or else I would face the facts and reject that once I got an actual job. I have put that part of me behind me and am ready to enter the workforce to provide for myself.

I am a slave for Tyson Foods! Evil, evil company!Don't I know it--I lived near their headquarters for four years when I was in grad school. The smell drifts south from Springdale on a bad day.

And add to it that just up the road from their headquarters is the headquarters for Wal-Mart and you see why I feel NW Arkansas is the whirlpool of all evil in the US.

Hehe yeah there's nothing quite so repugnant as the smell of a slaughterhouse but at least my area doesn't smell!

Oddly enough, you'd be surprized how bad corn processing plants, potato chip plants, and paper plants can smell.

I've worked at one, and lived near the other two. You'd think it wouldn't be that bad, but it's pretty awful. Almost as bad as when I lived near the marshes in South Carolina. Wheeeeoooooo!

I live in a town that is supported only by the paper mills. On sunny days.. the mills makes the air smell like rotten maple syrup.
