A light-hearted discussion..
Obviously it depends on your persuasion, but who or what parts of people do you think would make the greatest politician?
I think if you combined Ian Paisley and Maggie Thatcher you would have a pretty bad ass creation, though I wouldn't like to bump into it down a dark alley.

Technically, the perfect politician doesn't exist because such a person would immediately resign after gaining whatever position. Basically, the perfect politician isn't a politician.

Hey, you are using my plus sign thingy!! :P
The perfect politician (as far as I'm concerned) would have:
Patriotism
Charisma
Ambition
A solid education
Wisdom
A sharp mind
A good sense of judgement
Such a person probably could not exist, but one may dream I suppose...

That's bit harsh, Gordon Brown+Robin Cook, it would make the annual budget like a cryptic crossword.
But for if you want a boring Politician try Alistair Darling+Alistair Darling+John Major.
