Ok people, a coupla months ago I put up a similar thread, with the Philosophes being my argument against the France-bashing. Well I've found yet another hole to attack in this argument:

Ya no that Henry David Thoreau guy some of us admire so much?
Well take a look at his last name; what country do you think his ancestors came from?

EDIT: BTW Thoreau was an American
