NHL Playoff Thread, I guess

Being that I am bored, it's intermission of the Calgary-Detroit game, and I don't see an NHL thread here, I figured i would start one.

I had the Wings going all the way at the start of the playoffs; so far no reason to change that, barring a Sharks hot streak or the stupid Avs coming back and winning their series against the Sharks and going all the way.

Also, do not be fooled by my nation's flag; I am American and root for the Red Wings.

I've been a Wings fan since I moved to Michigan in 1989. I think they'll
take care of Calgary, but they'll have a hard time getting past the Shark's.
They always struggle against them. The Wings only do well when the other team allows them to control the game.

I've never remebered it being so wide open as to who could take it. I'm leaning toward Calgary as the last they won a series they took the cup...okay it was 89 but they seem to have that special something. Iginla is on a mission and Kiprusov is this years breakout goalie(ala Giguere). If not for Booby Clarke I would root for the Flyers as they have a good a team as any. I just want too see what it will take to get Clarke canned. Plus Toronto fans think they're the center of the universe. Admirable, if only for their perisitance to belive in the face of their history for the last 35+ years. Its harder to boo them though with all the classy guys they brought in(Leetch, Francis.. and Nolan last season).
