Am I really the only anarchist left?

Lithuanighanistania

Out of curiosity, who else out there whole-heartedly embraces anarchy? I mean seriously, a few years ago, I was with the "in" crowd. Every night was great; we'd have a few drinks, and then just go on a rampage in the nearest large city until the riot was broken by the local authorities.

Nothing gave me a bigger high than calling a police officer "pig" or "facist" or "bible thumper". But now, everything has changed. All of a sudden it's cool to love your country, and nobody except me seems to want to destroy anything anymore. I mean really, if all of us had been a little less obsessed with feeling so rebellious, and a little more obsessed with actually tearing down the system, couldn't we have accomplished it?

So my question to my fellow Nation States type peoples is this: Am I really the only anarchist left? You can't tell me that none of you don't have the urge to replace all that is order with chaos. Don't feel the need to destroy what took so long to build. Come on people; I know that you want to come with me, so who will? Let's do it! Anarchy forever! Down with the system! Free Willy!!!!!

Maybe YOU can't, but I'm not chained to a bible, or my parent's income. My free will may clash with yours, or his, or that jerk's over there, but I still have it.

What does work as ideally as you think it did when you were a child? Is the world as fair as you initially thought? Did you make all the right choices? I'm not a psychologist, I'm not a trained monkey tamer. I'm an anarchist. I do what I know how to do.

Yeah ok so this is the picture i have:

BOOM
(we destroyed the place) no goverment no buildings flames violence everywere, ok this goes either two ways for me here:

1 people calm down after the riots - then what happens- (we think) * oh Cr*p now what to destroy*

2 we all die

You cant have true free will because, if we go on the rampage, destroy everything then what happens we will calm down because there is nothing to destroy anymore so we will try to rebuild and to do that you will need a ruler of somesort, and you will alway get leaders in the rebeling fights against the police and the rest of the fights,

you cant get free will no matter how much you want to belive it.

Just a second here cowboy; it's not my job to convince people to become anarchists. I'm here to help unite those of us that already are. If anyone out there wants to join in, they're more than free to. As to why anyone would strive for anarchy, I can't say for sure. Why would anyone strive to become a baseball player? Why would anyone strive to memorize a phone book? I can't be sure.

Now, if we could kindly get back on track; I'm looking for anarchists.

I'm from West Virginia, by the way, where the girl sued her school for suspending her for being an anarchist
She wanted to start a club
What a loser...Our schools would be much better off if they WERE allowed to suspend kids for being totally stupid.

Well I was out participatin' in some anarchy, the first spot we hit it was my liqour store
I finally got all that alcohol I can't afford
with red lights flashing time to retire
and then we turned that liqour store in to a structure fire
The next stop we hit it was the music shop
it only took one brick to make that window drop
finally we got our own P.A.
where do you think I got this guitar that your hearin' today? eh

You people really take your views too seriously. If I were really an archist, do you really think that I would be talking about it on Nation States? I mean really people; just think for a second. If anyone actually believes in anarchy, they need to think a little harder. It's not practical, it's not smart, and it hasn't been in use since people were running around hitting each other, and the most powerful weapon in the world was a pointy stick.

I'm terribly sorry to all of you who wasted your time posting excessively and telling me I'm a stupid little punk or whatnot (personally, I thought that one was my favorite insult), but seriously, just...just no. Thank you all for playing the game; this really brought a sense of amusement into the forums that I haven't seen since I was last deleted for using innapropriate language and generally being an asshole.

I thought that anarchy WASN'T about chaos, but rather of a system with no clear authority, except perhaps that of the masses.

You, my friend, appear to be a punk, or maybe a Discordianist or something, but not a(n) (modern) anarchist.

Besides, if "chaos" reigns (whose to say it doesn't right now?), what would you do? Somehow I feel that it wouldn't take long before someone came and stabbed you in the rib, though I might be wrong. What I know of anarchy, it might work amongst buddhists or communists, or other strongy pro-solidarity people, but everyone else would propably kill eachother, or fear for being killed and form authoritian institutions, thus ending anarchy.

Or not, I'm a bit sleepy right now, so this message might be a big piece of shit.

From CourtTV.com (yes, this trial was on court TV):
"On July 12, 2002, the jury of five women and one man found that Katie Sierra was improperly denied the right to start a club, but was properly suspended and properly denied the right to wear her T-shirts. The jury awarded the nominal damages of $1. "
She was actually suspended for distributing flyers after being denied permission to start the club, and at least as far as the dress code was at my school, her t-shirts shouldn't have been allowed. We were not allowed to wear anything that distracted other students.
I mean, granted, I broke the dress code every day- we made it into a fun count of how many times over I'd broken it. But they couldn't do anything to me, because I was 2nd in my class, and my mom was doctor to 3/4 of the school board.
I think it's legitimate for some of the students to argue that if she can wear a shirt like that, then they should be able to "show their support for the KKK" (ok, maybe a full gown and hood deal would be overboard, but they should be able to make their own t-shirts)
I mean, her case was based on "favorable speech doesn't need protection, but unfavorable speech does"

actually there are as others have said and introduced themselves anarchists here. I am not one I believe in government but one that is responsible to its citizens, represenative and small and efficient, I am not a fan of federal/central government. Anarchy is a nice theory I suppose but well its unrealistic, I prefer some government myself as I believe most do. Seems most anarchists like yourself are socialists and I'd say half aren't at least from their nations here in the game very supportive of freedom you for instance have a sad civil rights and political freedoms score for an anarchist. You got the socialist part down though

(all this written to starter of topic, and other anarchists as well etc.)
