I really wish these idiots posting that they have 150+ IQ scores would realise that after 150 the tests are no longer accurate. That and all the tests are biased and irrelevant ANYWAYS. So generally a person who really has a IQ of say, 190 would post that they have a IQ of 150+.

1) Smart and High IQ have nothing to do with one another. High IQ means only that the faculties are present for being smart. You still have to go out and learn the info.

2) I'm guessing that most of these people got their IQ scores off a quick quiz on the Internet, which tends to inflate scores by 60-80 points. Now of course, there could possibly be one or two people who actually do have an IQ in the 160-170 range, but the odds of any more are stratospherically slim.

3) 82 is below the median (100), but it's not below average. It's still well within the high part of the Bell Curve.

Thats why I put 145-190. every test I have taken has been above that bottom number and I know that the preciseness of the tests kinda flounder after that. Also it was what allowed me to open my own compnay and run it successfully, and it have become a very successful venture.

Aparently we are flooding the networks and getting into the rest of the world. Never underestimate the influence of Texas on anything (obviously this includes NS)

i make about 120,000-125,000 a year before taxes, after that somewhere in the 80,000-90,000 range

Well right now both of your occupations would not mesh very well. We don't sell stock in our company and we wont be, because there is no way on Earth that I will let someone else tell me how to run my business. And for administrative positions, we are fairly set for the time being, seeing that we don't really have much administering to do at this point in time. We are focusing on our research and once thats done or once we get more people under my command, then maybe we would need people to help run things.

Not quite.

100=mean. I'm quite sure that it's mean, not median. For one thing it's a standard deviation system, which doesn't work with median scores. Nonetheless with as much data as has been compiled it doesn't make a big difference, the mean and median are going to be pretty much the same.

Every 10 is one standard deviation from the mean.

Thus, 80 is below average, and while not sufficiently so to be incapable of normal function, something like 85% of everyone is between 80 and 120 (it's been awhile since I looked at it).

Plus, only about .5% of everyone is above an IQ of 140, so most if not all of you are lying or taking inaccurate online tests. Although I can see more high IQs than low just because most people with lower IQs aren't going to want to post it, this is just ridiculous.

100=mean. I'm quite sure that it's mean, not median. For one thing it's a standard deviation system, which doesn't work with median scores. Nonetheless with as much data as has been compiled it doesn't make a big difference, the mean and median are going to be pretty much the same.

Every 10 is one standard deviation from the mean.

Thus, 80 is below average, and while not sufficiently so to be incapable of normal function, something like 85% of everyone is between 80 and 120 (it's been awhile since I looked at it).

Plus, only about .5% of everyone is above an IQ of 140, so most if not all of you are lying or taking inaccurate online tests. Although I can see more high IQs than low just because most people with lower IQs aren't going to want to post it, this is just ridiculous.

Well, the standard deviation is 15 points, so he could be at 97. In any case, he's in the biggest part of the Bell Curve, at about the 42nd percentile. So I repeat, he isn't doing all that bad.

That being said, you are right about the preponderance of high IQ scores here. Only about 1 in a thousand people have an IQ of 145 or over, so either we're really picking the cream of the crop here, or there are some serious frauds out there on the online testing scene.
