troll - to make insulting remarks towards a group of people, ie Christians/non-Christians, Communists (or is it Socialists), fascists, women/men, basically any group of people....aimed at getting equally insulting replies (I *think* I got this one right)
flame - to make insulting remarks at someone in particular, aimed at getting equally insulting replies
BTW - short for "By The Way"
BUMP - the forums work on a system where the threads with the most recent posts are at the top of the lists. To BUMP a thread is to move it back to the top of the list, because you have just posted a new message.
snip - cutting short a message, either cos it's a quote and it's too long, or cos it's something you said which you don't want read any more (when editting the message afterwards).
Trolling varies from place to place, but generally, it is the title given to someone who posts annoyingly, or irregularly.
Flaming is directly insulting, there are fine lines though, and people are generally too clever to get caught flaming.
BTW stands for 'by the way'.
BUMP is used to bump a topic back up to the top of the thread list, some people argue it stands for 'bring up my post' or similar, I believe however, that it is a verb, and not an acronym.
Snip is a spacesaving device, used for saving scrolling time when replying to a post.
TG means telegram.
OOC means 'out of character' for their particular NationState.
IC is the opposite, meaning 'in character'
+1 is used by people looking to up their post count in a less acceptable fashion, meaning '+1 post to my count'.
Asterisks are used to denote actions, like this *gives an example*
