Here's the question:
"Do human rights exist in real terms (i.e. are they fundamentally part of what it is to be human)?
OR
Are human rights fabricated constructs, useful for helping achieve political/moral goals, but essentially non-existent?"
By the phrasing of the question, I think you can guess I prefer the latter.
