A question about Anarchists..

I've seen on several websites that anarchists world wide have something planned for May 1st? Nothing specific, just "something". I really don't care. My guns are always loaded and close by just in case.

My question is: If anarchists have organized, then aren't they no longer anarchists?

your guns are always loaded just in case? hmm. are you yourself an anarchist? because from what I know about anarchists - they are peaceful ... they don't want unnecessary violence. and May 1st is like a Union "holiday" or something. The Haymarket Riots occured on that day, and it has gone down in history as a big day for Anarchists and Union members. It is also known as May day.

Woppee, he get to through this again.

Anarchists are anti-hierachy, non anti-organisation. Indeed, many prominent Anarchists advocated solidarity as a way for humanity to advance to anarchism.

and you are wrong my friend about anarchists being unorganized. of course they are organized. it can be known as organized chaos I suppose - but anarchy is about order - just not a system. the words escape me right now - but the best I can explain as ... hmmm. for example, all of the "anarchist" protests have to be planned out so they arn't brought down by the cops. anarchists are not about just causing riots and disorganization, they want to prove a point when they protest. and how else do you prove a point unless it is organized somehow. some protests can take months to organize!

May 1st is International Workers Day, a time for solidarity and union with workers worldwide. More can be found out here (http://flag.blackened.net/daver/anarchism/mayday.html).

And once again for those not paying attention at the back: anarchists are in no way oposed to order. We merley reject all hierarchial order, namely the State, capatalism and organized religion. (We debate about the rest...)

You know the famous anarchy 'A' that every pop-punker is wearing on their Topman t-shirts? Well the circle round the 'A' is an 'O', standing for order.

Don't forget sexism and racism. The only hierarchy I've seen much debate on is BDSM. That's a particularly difficult issue to reconcile with anarchist theory.

On one hand, it's voluntary, but many would argue that capitalism is, too. On the other hand, it's hierarchial, so it's a tough issue.
