U.S. trying a new tactic to get their due-tax - SHAME!
http://www.rev.state.la.us/sections/cybershame/
Yes that's right! In an effort to get people to pay their taxes, certain states have given the GO to give out personal information (names, address, and debt owed) for the internet to deal with.
Wouldn't it be embarassing to have your neighbor look at how much you owe? Your ex? Your mother?
Well...who am I to not take part in such an American tradition that should be continued? SHAME ON PEOPLE!

I think the most embarrasing things here are different than intended:
1. The states, who give out personal info
2. The people who actually read others personal info
Across the street where I live there is an older lady who lives in her window. As soon as anyone whispers under her window, she threatens to call the cops. She would probably love searching the internet for her neighbours' (I would say friends, but I don't think she has any) personal info.

First the IRS will put this on-line, next the ATF will put a list of Gun Owners on-line
Fascism: pure and simple

OH wonderful! thats just wrong. Really they should cut taxes on income. Abolish marriage and children tax and not create this new internet tax they speak of. And this idea of making personal info available is just well horrible, I'd prefer they didn't even know my personal info. Ah and hey texastambul thats possible if not very likely, who wants the government or anyone to know they have a gun for protection. If the government knows you have a gun they can far mor easily take it away.
Yes fascism.

Yes fascism.
The IRS is already attacking the 1st Amendment rights of a 2nd Amendment group!

This is probably because the republican party is trying to get a hold of John Kerry's wife's financial records so they can figure out a way to slander Kerry some more. (Kerry's wife's maiden name is Heinz, as in the ketchup company). Since when did it matter what a Ketchup company is doing financialy, in the policies and potential of someone running for president?

It's not about Democrats or Republicans: It's about fascism
It's about taxing you, wasting money on immoral wars, terrorizing you, stealing your guns, stealing your freedoms, not counting your votes...
When your imprisoned, it won't matter if the dictator calls himself a Republican, Democrat or Nazi...

Yes, but in order for the government to tax me, waste money on a war that should have ended centuries ago, the Crusades, (except this time, there is some oil involved too) Bush needs to stay in power. And because Kerry is a threat to him, and because Kerry might actualy make America an ideal place to live, in peace and unafraid, they need to prevent that from happening in order to keep up their little ring of world dominance.

BUSH and KERRY are one in the same: They're like COKE and PEPSI
If Kerry was really concerned with the "people" then he would cut his ties to the SKULL & BONES cult -- until then, and always, he's just another New World Order puppet...
Kerry voted for the WAR! Kerry want's to put the US Army under the UN!
Kerry isn't the solution-- he's not even a substitute.
I think Pepsi is a little more watery, but healthier
And Coke tastes really bad in hot weather
Anyone ever been to the post office? They all got posters, with the names, amounts, and faces of locals who owe child support.. same concept.
