Inspired by this thread (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=142111) I have posted my experience ont he day after 9-11.

On the schoolbus I am told what happened...

Friend: "The World Trade Center was bombed"

Me: "OMG!"

Friend: "They reckon it was Arabs!"

Me: "You know what we should do? Send a bunch of missiles in that general direction!"

Friend: "Yeah, I don't feel safe anymore..."

Me: "Those bastards took away our freedom!"

Later that day...

Me: "A-me-rica A-me-rica, f*ck Afghanistan A-me-riaca!"

This went on for quite sometime until I made a Muslim friend of mine cry, I then chanted a little softer.

That afternoon in Drama...

We were banend form doing any sketches on the WTC, thus depleted all my material. I did a subtle Cold War parody instead.

I arrive home...

Realised nothing was on telivision except second by second updates, and the same image over and over and over and over and over and over and you get the idea.

A week later...

We hear Osuma Bin Laden is the top suspect, it mus tbe him. Me and my friends begin protesting that noone is nuking Afghanistan.

I am banned from singing my trademark song:

"My name is Osume bin Laden suicide bombing your town,
Say goodbye to the World Trade Center, Camp David and the Pen-ti-gon.
I'm a doped up Arab and a pyscopath and I like to smok-a my bong"

There are about ten more verses I don't remember.

About a year later...

I'm really over 9-11 and have regained my Liberal state of mind, begin questioning American policies.

About a year later...

Remove American flag from my display of national flags.

Schoolwide protest to impending War in Iraq, 1000 students remain seated on oval for nearly two hours until the Principal offers to join them at lunch if they will go to class now. They disperse and return at lunch with his support, cool placard and news coverage.

You know the rest
