And that is why the Democratic party is in disarray.

It is true. Kucinich was the best canadate, but the DNC is working on votability and not the true issues. Welcome to George Bush Diet, all the douche, half the calories

Kucinich was not the best candidate. He was a good one, but not the best.

Like it or not, part of being a successful presidential candidate is salesmanship, and Kucinich lacked the ability to sell himself to a large group of Democrats. His insistence on pulling out of NAFTA and the WTO unilaterally scared a lot of people in the party, and quite honestly, it should. Our economy is shaky enough without giving it that kind of additional jolt.

His argument for a single-payer universal health care system is a good one, as is his strategy to replace US sovereignty in Iraq with UN nationbuilders, but overall, he wasn't the best candidate.

Neither was Kerry, and honestly, Kucinich ranked just above Kerry in my personal wish list, but Kerry's the guy, so I'm gonna do my part.

While Kucinish was by far the best candidate he n nader are both equally unlikely to have any chance given the current extreme right wing policies of the damng bible carrying communists (aka the bush administration)- people dont want that kind of radical change. obviously kerry will have a relatively uneventful experience as president which is what we need now, its the only way to make the change-gradually. besides all that counts now is gettin this idiot out of office

The Democrats are actually amazingly untied. It would appear it's the Republicans who are having a hard time agreeing with each other. Odd twist, from conventional wisdom, yet true none the less.

Just wanted to say that if the Bu$h administration were communists, they wouldn't be cutting down taxes on the rich. The whole equal share thing of communism...but then again, I'm not a commie, but I'm pretty sure if anything, Bu$h would be an "authoritarian". (For a lack of better words).
