He mailed me and told me what he wanted. He wanted some violent video games. Should I get him one? He's already a destructive kid, and I do want to steer him away from the sexual movies cuz that aint good for him.

If the kid were 10, or under.......yeah, sure...dont let him see that kinda stuff.

But at twelve, hes pretty able to tell fantasy from reality.

At that age...he's probably already seen it all, in one way or another.

A video game isnt going to hurt him.

It depends whether you want him to become chief justice of the supreme court, or a sleazy male stripper. Or both, like the late Earl Warren..

He's 12... get him some good T-rated games... nothing you have to show ID for :P

If you are going to get something M rated. make sure it has parental controls or something... or a non-gory game like Ravenshield :)

would Grand Thewft Autoor True Crime be good?

I would actually recomend against those two for a couple off years....they have lots of both...sex, and hardcore violence..

But maybe a decent first person shooter wouldnt be too bad?

I hear Battlefield vietnam is out...

would Grand Thewft Autoor True Crime be good?UHHH... yeah, most decent parents wouldn't think twice about giving their 16-18 year olds that game... let alone 12...

Your call, but those are violent, racey, crude games...

I much prefered Battlefield 1942..with the Desert Combat Mod...

That rules.

I think what he means is, does he need money for his entertainment or is he content without it? You know how really little kids can take a quarter and be happy with it becuase they don't have to pay for anything but as kids get older they start actually using money and then a quarter is almost meaningless.
