While The Smoking Man is off hacking up a lung somewhere or sunning himself on his retirement, I think I should... alert you in some of the many things that he seems to have (by accident or design) neglected to tell you. First of all, I'm sure you've seen him potter aimlessly around issues of mod conspiracy, connecting the names and the dates and the numbers, oh, and of course, Forum 7. But it seems he has overlooked a fairly simple point. At best, it is merely a bias on behalf of the people who choose the mods, at worst, it is a conspiracy that reaches to the highest levels of power.

A coincidence? Possibly, with one or two instances. But to have an over representation of three times the amount of mods for the last 13 letters of the alphabet... difficult to believe its a chance occurance, wouldn't you say?

Thats kinda flimsy evidence. We all know mods are chosen for their helping in NS, and their names have nothing to do with it.
Besides, you could just switch the letters and their corrisponding stats to change your results. Duh...

You have WAY too much time on your hands.It makes me laugh... and yet almost makes me sad. That you think you know why the mods are appointed. Whats your evidence? The things they told you. Is that reliable enough for you? I think that maybe a little scepticism is justified.

When I was still into modding for command and conquer RA2, I was a mod at a CnC forum. Not exactly anything special, unless of course you count the ubersexy green text on your name. You have to actualy work.

They don't keep it locked up for nothing you know. There are only two reasons to keep something secret. Cos someone who knows could damage you, or cos what you know could damage someone else. Forum 7 definately falls into the latter category.
