I think I've maxed out at three pages, but I did start an irratating 'trend of the moment' with my Pirates vs Ninjas thread where everyone did a sudden rash of vs threads.
That and my treatese on why Skeletor is painted evil by the opressive He-Man regime but is in reality someone with a better plan for Eternia (Build Bridges, not DragonWalkers!!!) where probably the only threads that where a success. They had some damn funny responses (especially the ninja/pirate one) as well as a really funny idea for a reality show someone posted in my "Out Fox FOX" reality show idea thread.
Other than those small victories, I pretty much suck at starting threads.
My thread titled "I hate The Passion". Sparked a huge religious argument which I didn't want. I just wanted to make remarks about the South Park episode.

My energy resources thread got to 15 pages, or almost 300 responses. I have had a few other that got to 10 pages or so, but on the whole, the threads I create tend to die at 3-5 pages.
