A friend from another forum lost his 15 year old son in a tragic accident a year ago. Since his son's death he has been overwhealmed by the support and kind words shown by his community.
His son was one of those kind of people who are just naturally nice. He walked a nearby girl home from the schoolbus every day, parting with lines from shakespear each time. He offered kindness to the autistic kid who rode the bus with him when the other kids offered cruelty. He was liked and loved by many and his death hit everyone hard.
At his eulogy, his father quoted lines from his favorite movie, Zoolander. It was sorrowful joy that folks remembered the laughture, particulary from the darker humor in the movie (Egoogly).
Now there is a beautiful memorial website and scholarship fund in his memory. I invite all of you to visit. Please feel free to donate if you are so inclined. If not, just try to appreciate the warmth this young man shone on the world around him.
