Australian Prime Minister John Howard was recently asked about Australian troops remaining in Iraq, given that Spain and other nations are now pulling out.

He replied that Australian troops would remain "until the job was done".

THE Sydney Morning Herald catoon re this appears below, and I think requires no further comment.

Hey, at least your leaders are being innovative. Right up until this insurgency, Bliar was still talking about Iraqi WMDs. Sometimes, it almost looks as though he genuinely believes in them. At least this crisis is going to let him take a break from it, maybe think of a new angle.

You should read this (http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,3604,1197127,00.html) which appeared in the Guardian today. I was thinking of threading it but, meh I didn't.

Yes, thanks for that.

Let's hope that the truthless trio of Bush, Blair and Howard are made to swalllow a large, and fatal, dose of rejection from the electorates that they have treated with such contempt.

even if they lose their respective elections, what are their countries going to do, just pull out of iraq? isnt that, like, closing the barn door after the horse escapes?

Bushshit baffles brains.
Useful tax cuts (that is if you are rich)
Shock and awe (current US Debt)
Hussein is a terrorist (he was hiding his WMD in his private underground dirt bunker)

Liberating (well we had to have some excuse)
Iraq (hey there is lots of oil there)
Everyone believes me (wicked evil grin)
Shame on you, I fooled you twice (ha ha)

As long as you smile just a little but speak firmly most people will think you're truthful and reliable no matter what bull you're spouting.
