The Bright Side of Life

OK, so the server is pretty dire and there are far too many spammers and flamers about but I'm bored of complaining. I'm in a good mood so here's a novel idea, let's talk about what we do like about Nation States

Personally I don't RP, mainly cause I haven't really got a clue what goes on, but I love the general forum and the chance to hear other people's opinions on all kinds of topics.
I possibly pay less attention to my nation itself than I should, given that I've been set on vacation mode for over a month now.

Any thoughts?

Ah, a common mistake. You should try barking to a dog in Japanese!

Who would have thought, Monty Python and Terry Pratchett references all in one topic. NS is a truly wonderful place.

Well I like The Forum and getting the chance to talk to people from around the world.

I also like the issues but then my nation is still new and I suppose that could wear off.

I also like laughing at some of the fanatics that post messages on this site, from either wing Right and Left. They take this site far too seriously and get really worked up. Its really funny. I assume that the majority of them are young kids with no life experience because back when I was a terrible teen I was so convinced that I was right and anyone who disagreed with me was a fool too.

Im still convinced that I am right, but now my life experience has proved it! Ha ha ha.
:P

'Gaspode The Wonder Dog' is an Ankh-Morporkian dog. He can talk.

Only select humans can here him though, namely Carrot. After all, everyone knows dogs can't talk. Dont they?

This phenomena, peculiar to Discworld, is the same phenomena that causes people to see Death as a tall, dark gentleman, and not a seven foot robed skeleton holding a scythe.
