The Death Penalty for people who litter -
As one of the main reasons to support the death penality is to 'deter' would be criminals, such as murders and rapist, I had the idea today that this logic could be applied to solve another of societies ills - littering.
The idea of fining people is to 'deter' people from littering, correct? Well, why not go all out and execute people who litter? Sure as hell would stop me from littering. If you're going to 'deter' people might as well do it properly, right?
Thing about it - litter is slowly killing the planet which we need to live on, so if the planet dies, we (the human race) die. Therefore, when we execute a litter we are really executing a future mass murder.
I started getting this idea on my to eat breakfast at the uni caf and continued thinking on it whilst eating my rice porrigde and men-tu, after a really bad nights sleep (I think I eat some dodgy pork yesterday). There is s**t loads of litter in China and I decided the 'best' (extreme, yes) way to solve this the good old death penalty.
This is just a stupid idea I had this morning that I wanted to share with you all, it's not meant to be a comment on the death penalty and I 'm not trying to start a debate on it. I really don't 'believe' this, I just like thinking up stuff like this.
Feel free to comment on it (remember, I don't really mean this seriously so don't start calling me a murder, I'm actually against the death penalty) or add you're own stupid/outlandish theories on anything if you want.
