Degrees of porn?
The typical conception of porn is media that depicts naked people, either singly in a suggestive way or paired up having sex, with the intent of arousal by the person looking at it. But, do you think there are different degrees? For example, when I watch two of my best friends making out (believe me I have the right; they were on my bed), is that a level of porn? It's certainly enjoyable for me to see, being two hot guys, and it's without a doubt a sexual type of activity - but then again, it's not sex, and it doesn't really fit the cultural framework for being porn. So what do you all think?

The difference between softcore and hardcore porn is this:

I wouldn't call it porn, but I would call it a threesome. If you were in the same room watching your friends and they knew you were watching, then you were indirectly involved in their sex. Sounds like it might have been fun - otherwise you would've left the room right?

Actually, hardcore and softcore have real industry definitions:
hardcore: depictions of intercourse and sodomy, usually features zoom ins on the action, aka 'money shots'.
softcore: girls or guys by themselves or having intercourse but with no zoom in on the parts being used. No money shots, unless it's solo activity. Alot of girl on girl porn fits this descprition too.
What about hot, luscious, naked skeletons? :P
Oh, and I think fetishes are pretty much the end of the line. I can't really see anything worse than pregnant porn or all that fecophilia.
