Why did Canadiens fans feel it necessary to boo the US National Anthem the past two games in the Bell Centre against the Boston Bruins? What does it accomplish to boo a National Anthem, besides to look like the least educated and least respectful fans in the NHL. I had such respect for the Canadiens and their legacy, but this is a black mark on a storied franchise. I certainly hope Canucks, Flames, Maple Leafs, Senators fans don't act in a similarly childish manner if they play American teams in the playoffs this year.
