I am a thirty-something and as such no longer celebrate birthdays (the pain you understand), but I hope you have a good one.
Aah, I remember when I was 17, it was the year 1990 and....you could get a slap up meal, a bottle of wine and a sportscar and still have change from a £10 note. (or maybe not, memory is the first thing to go).
1990, ah we had, in GB anyway, "Mona" by Craig McLachan(sp), Birdhouse in your Soul, The SoupDragons and "I want to be free to do what I want". "Strawberry Fields Forever!" and a Tory Government.

Well, it's a bit different over here in the UK.
I am currently in my 1st year of 6th form studying French, Sociology, Politics and History at AS Level. Next year (Yr 13), will be my last and then I will have to go to University staright aay in order to not get killed by the tuition fees.
