What party do you think would have done/will do the most to prevent terrorism against the U.S., the Democrats, or the Grand Old Party?
democrats... cause all the good ol' boys do is make more Terrorists....

It seems to me that the Republicans would proabably do a better job, considering how zealously they seem to go after people, and throw all their resources into it.
I am definitly a democratic supporter, but it seems to me that the Republicans are willing to go after terrorists with more intensity. Maybe too much :P
greens are not a choice so I won't vote for either of these corporate entities

Neither - None will go after the causes of terrorism, such as poverty. They'll both just keeping blowing the crap out of things to appease the majority of the US domestic population.
Both of these parties will go after the sympton (terrorism), not the disease (poverty, alienation, frustration and corrupt regimes, which the US supports). Also, the sooner the Isreal - Palestine issue is resolved in a manner accetable to both sides, the better.

BTW - When I say corrupt regimes I'm refering to the House of Saud.
Correct me if I am wrong, but both parties seem to be persuing the same line in regards to terrorism.
Not saying some 'miltary' action (police action would be better) won't be necassary in the short term, but it is not a solution in itself. Again, look at Isreal and Palestine.

better question: which party is guilty of committing (or at least ordering the committing of) more acts of terrorism worldwide?
i honestly don't know, its probably a pretty close race.
The Republicans have *done* more, but there hasn't been a Democratic President since we've really focussed on terrorism. So.. I don't think you can say definitively.
Still, the Democrats have a deeper history of leading through war than the Republicans in any case. Democrats brought us into Vietnam, the Korean War, WWI and WWII. They can handle it. If the Democrats would nominate a moderate whose priorities are somewhet in order, i would have no problem with them. :wink:
