Now what I mean by this is that someone is living in a socio-economic situation where they can contribute back in society in some way. I am sick and tired of seeing all the people in my school who are so well-off in my town just slack off, don't do anything extracurricular, and be socially promoted through the grades (note: this only applies to people who are mentally capable of doing any level of work but just slack off)
But implementing this in a democratic society would effectively make it commie, so . . .

I think Libertarian-types who hate government/taxation (and figure out ways to avoid paying their taxes) should forfeit any of the privledges society brings. Starting with police protection and the right to use public roads.

As long as those Libertarian types are paying the taxes they'er required to, then they ought to be able to use the services--they're paying for them after all. I'm just glad that at some basic level, most people realize that the logical end of libertarianism is anarchy and they reject that.

There's a certain built-in "instant karma" to the world.
If you smugly avoid learning, even if you get passed (promoted), you become an ignoramus and a bum.
If you refuse to work eventually your family and friends kick you out and lo! you're a bum.
