Ok...does anyone know where I can get cheap software. I actually I'm looking for Corel WordPerfect (newest version ofcourse)...but I don't want to pay out the wazoo for it.

Go over to a linux distro, which you should be able to get for free ( at most the cost of the CDs it is burned on to), and then OpenOffice will probably take care of it from there.

OpenOffice.org won't handle the default Word Perfect Documents. It will take pretty much anything else you can throw at it, though.

And if you're timid, it's available for Windows and MacOS too. Not that the Artoonian government condones such a thing, mind you. 8)

If you want to buy good software legal, present a student ID. YOu'll get half off.

I got my Adobe programs and flash for half off as a high school student.

Hell, I was able to get Win XP, Office XP, and Visual Studio .Net for $5 apiece as a student!

Whatever you do, though, don't steal. It's wrong.
