Anybody remember Starcraft?

Yeah, and when I say 'remember,' I mean 'own the game and want to play it on battle.net'

I hope this isn't considered advertising for a non-NS game. I'm just seeing if anyone but n00bs play it now. And I want to play non-n00b games!

No, I don't remember it, and I'm glad I don't.

I remember it, I loved that game, I made some cool scenarios with allied protoss and terrans. Ghosts kick arse.

I don't want to play it tho, sorry, I'm not good enough and I never liked standard type games

Rather than play ancient StarCraft, why not play WC3: TFT? Fun! Fun! Fun! (though I haven't played WC3 in months)

Booya! Man, I cant belive that people dont know about SC. And I dont 'remember' I play. The only grudge I have about it is that (pardon my french) stupid, retarded, doesnt even deserve a place in SC photon cannon rush stratagy.

Eh, just kill the little probe bastards!

As for WC3, well that doesn't run too well on this system. Otherwise I'd probably give it a go. Besides, SC is classic, simple good fun.

Well my battle.net name is saint_maggot, if anyone wants to find me on USWest today, for a little 1v1 or something with terrifying computer foes. I'm not that good, so I'm probably an easy win for the experts.

As I go over this forum, I have my laptop on playing back through the original game, with some restrictions.
I've noticed there are only three real ways to make a mission (except protoss 7, as I suck with protoss and against protoss, making it take half an hour) take more than 10 minutes: 1- play without a mouse, on a mouse pad or other such thing to eliminate all micro. 2- use no air units, ridding myself of the Kor-ah Death March strategy* 3-when playing the 'toss missions, don't build batteries, halfing the number of effective attacks one can make.
I can't play online much anymore, because I have satellite internet (takes about 3/4ths of a second for a signal to get from point a to point e by bouncing off satellites b & d through control center c, and doesn't transmit in weather more unusual than a strong breeze), but I can play on the LAN at school and rape a few supposed geniuses there.

Oh, and how does a "cannon rush" even work? Whack the probe. If they build a line of cannons, by the time it's to your base and more than three long, you should have an army. Cannons are only there to be detectors and distractions, four stimmed Marines with range upgrades can knock it out losing one, at most, and you should have at least one upgrade on zerglings. I've seen two zerglings with Adrenals knock a cannon out of commission, and you can make six faster than they can make a cannon for the same cost.
(unless you play BGH, in which case cost has no meaning to you, and you're a pansy.)
