I was having a gander at this (http://www.winternet.com/~mikelr/flame1.html) and a few of our members stuck out...see what you think.

I think this one (http://www.winternet.com/~mikelr/flame32.html) is appropriate for Anthrus, given recent events.

Brilliant, not sure about the one for Steph but brilliant. I wonder who some like Nanakaland, or Hack or MJ666 would come as.

Hi Jeebus.
Was gonna be 'Nanny' but the "rarely gets involved in arguements' bit didn't really fit.

Sorry, but there's no freaking way The Red Arrow is an Eagle Scout.

I'd say that this (http://www.winternet.com/~mikelr/flame34.html) is more like Marathon. The Godzilla character comes out of nowhere, causes havoc, and disappears. Marathon was here for months.

It was just this bit that made me think..
"Pinko has an angry, almost genetic loathing for privilege, greed, social exploitation, racism, sexism, homophobia, pro-lifers, the religious right, environmental degradation, the NRA, US imperialism, multinational corporations, big business, Republicans in general and George Bush in particular. "
I could be wrong though.
How many archivists are on NS?

Hmmm.. well I don't think wanting social justice and being against oppressive people and things was a bad thing. But to each their own.

This one made me laugh.
I didn't say it was, I just thought that seemed to be a character you partly matched, by ideals only though.

I can't trace a lot of these to specific current players, but I recognize a lot of personality types from the past. For example, Rebel Without a Clue (http://www.winternet.com/~mikelr/flame75.html) used to appear a lot, especially in the early days of modding. I recall a few pairs of Duelists (http://www.winternet.com/~mikelr/flame70.html) who used to go after each other all the time (most famously, Marathon and Kitsylvania). We've had a few people who fit the Capitalista (http://www.winternet.com/~mikelr/flame89.html) description very well, and others who aspired to that role but had no knowledge of the relevant political philosophers. And I've seen a few Centurions (http://www.winternet.com/~mikelr/flame87.html)--people whose primary argument is that they've served in the military so damn it, you'd better show them some respect.
For Duelists there's TAR and Doujin I think. Both trying to control forum 7(13).
