I have a theory:
George W Bush was actually playing this very game, with a slight difference. There were two extra buttons on his PC, "Reality" and "Fanatasy", situated next to each other on the keyboard. Accidentally pressing "Reality" has resulted in the current situation. What's more of a fluke, was that Tony Blair also pressed the wrong button, whilst Saddam Hussein thought he was still pressing the "Fanatsy" button, along with Bin Laden and Colonel Gadaffi, who didn't realise this until after he had revealed Libya's nuclear capability! It would also explain the lack of eveidence for Weapons of Mass Destruction, if Saddam was living in a fantasy world along with the other world leaders mentioned above.
Whether this is true or not is irrelevant, it's just an amusing scenario
