What do you think would happen if we (America) Left Iraq just like what Europe Germany and france and those other countries who disagree with this war? What would happen if we were ta just take everything back and let saddam go? Would things be better? Would things get worse? I would like to hear you opinions
(and please keep your anti american and anti bush comments to your self ive read enough of those) :?

No matter what America does over there it is not going to make Iraq a better place to live, the people over there have minds of their own. I say we get out of there and leave Iraqis to destroy themselves. We aren't doing an ounce of good by being over there. If anything we are making them even angrier than they were before.

The problem is, however, we make the situation worse for ourselves. I always said this is a gamble, but there is a chance of success. Even in the violence of this month, there's evidence to show that this is only a few wackos. It's like what happened in Haiti--150 militiamen took most of the country because of poorly trained police (or in Iraq's case, frightened police officers).

Leaving Iraq to itself would be a bad move...they are already the pariah of the Middle East (now that Quaddafi has "seen the light"). Letting them settle their affairs alone, at this point would leave the Iraqi people open to even more calamity than they've already suffered.

At best, they would obtain some form of government on their own that might allow them to get back on course with the Middle East an world community. Hopefully it would not not be some kind of fundamentalist theocracy, though that seems most likely.

At worst, another despot would gain power and we (the rest of the world) would be back where we started when Hussein came to power...

It's even possible that Iran would take advantage of Iraq (if the US Coalition leaves prematurely) and re-engage Iraq in another dispute.

We (the US) have already opened Pandora's Box. Never mind if we should have or not, what's done is done. If we abandon Iraq now, it can only mean more strife for the Iraqi people, and more problems with the Middle East.

the situation in Iraq is what's figuratively known as a quagmire. If the US stays, more people get killed and more people hate us. If the US leaves, more people get killed and way more people hate us. There is no correct solution anymore. The correct solution was not to invade Iraq but it's too late for that now

Yes, it looks like the United States is pretty screwed at this point. It's a lose-lose situation no matter what.

I believe its not loose loose situation cuase eventually the terrorsists are either:

A) Get themselves all killed
B)Give up
C)Loose support and the local population turns on them

I also belive C is the more likely becuase if you think about it The have illed more iraqies then we have! :?
