Ok, I’m a little annoyed with this game now. I’ve been playing for several months and I’m about to call it quits. First, I keep getting the same issues to vote on. I’ve picked different outcomes, but yet they still come back to haunt me. The only thing that I originally found interesting was the forum. But, as many of you can attest, it is just the same topic, in 20 different thread tittles. We keep revisiting the same issues again and again and yes even again.
So, please give me a reason to stay, or I may have to let my nation and its puppets get deleted.
Have you ever tried Rp? Although I'm not a big fan of it myself, it can become quite fun at times. Besides that, I guess NationStates is just a place where you run your own country, making laws and such.
Yeah I know the feeling, that's why I've switched to vacation mode cause I got so fed up of the same issues coming up over and over again.
The forum seems to be dying a slow and painful death, it's a shame that no-one can start off an 'interesting' topic without it turning into an arena for flaming and spam.
Didn't know you had any puppets Sozo - anyone I'd know?

This place is as alive as you make it.
oh I don't deny that, it's just a shame that any original topics get destroyed, twisted or ignored

I'm not trying to be cold, here. Just presenting the logical options.
no what I'm saying is that new topics usually get ignored and we end up talking about the same stuff all over again. Gay marriage, religion, bush...you name and there are several thread different tittles talking about the same thing...

From what I gather..and please anyone correct me if I'm wrong..but by far at certain times of the day....more Europeans are on here then we Americans..myself....luckily I have my own office and plenty of time to post..other times I'm up to my elbows in work, and can't post..but I digress...The world events at they are take up a lot of the Non-Europeans day...Americans come in here and naturally we have everything from the "I hate America no matter what crowd" to the "We only disagree with your current Adminstration's policy, can't you understand that?" crowd..
At this time..our National Election is taking the front seat..it comes up in November...the ads are starting to fly..more dirt it seems to me, on both Kerry and Bush's side of the house...Kerry has an ad with a unemployed man sitting to a sparse breakfast shaking his head "my job got outsourced hun...our house will be sold..etc."...pulling at the emotional heart strings which democrats have done so well..and so often over the years....Bush will retaliate with the "I was at the helm after 9/11 and we kicked butt patriotic" ads...as well as the "Dems will take your tax money and spend it furiously on feel-good projects" ads..
Our economy has sluggishly responded out of this recesision....but the most impact has been in increased corporate profits..private citizen responses have been less noticeable but still there have been improvements.
So while we Americans are caught up in our own world..the non-Americans on this forum want to speak to Americans regarding their non-Continental US topics that affect them more directly then American internal issues.so the same topics keep getting rehased.

Were you referring to me? I don't know bout that..course if you believe the tripe that Silly Mountain Walks I'm a 16 yr old child..why he picks 16 and say..not 17..or 15 I guess he has his standards...he basis for that assertion is that (1) Some of my positions are weak...as if an adult can't have weak positions?...(2) I post a lot, therefore I must be out of work or a child with too much time on his hands...as if there aren't adults who have relatively low workloads at one point in time of the day?..(3) He says my age has changed considerably..sometimes 50.sometimes 60..I distinctly remember saying I was 59 going on 60 a couple of times but apparently that hasn't registed...
