Condoleezza Testimony: CUT THAT OUT!
I'm trying to watch this important event, but those stupid camera guys running around in the background are getting REALLY ANNOYING! They keep kneeling down in front of the camera and taking pictures... up and down, up and down!
Do these guys know they're in frame?!
lol, sorry, just annoying. :P

Damn, but I think she's one of the most hard looking women I've ever seen!
Just one woman's opinion of another!

I'm more interested in what happened in Jan, Aug 6th and Sept. 4th.. She sure didn't want to get into those dates.. things that make you stop and go hmmm... I will give her kudos for not playing the blame game and not at least acting angry with Dick Clarke. Over all I think she handled herself well, but she left me with more questions I think then she answered.. just my observations. Although I will admit also as a women she is one hard looking gal.. LOL.. :P

I wish I'd been able to watch it, but I don't have cable and I wasn't getting up at 6 in the am (out on the west coast, ya know), so I'm depending on transcripts (and if anyone can give me a link to the q&a session, I'd be grateful) and these guys (http://www.americanprogress.org/site/pp.asp?c=biJRJ8OVF&b=44918) at the Center for American Progress who are doing a Claim vs. Fact on her testimony today. Here's my favorite part thus far:
August 6 PDB
CLAIM: There was "nothing about the threat of attack in the U.S." in the Presidential Daily Briefing the President received on August 6th. [responding to Ben Veniste]
FACT: Rice herself confirmed that "the title [of the PDB] was, 'Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States.'" [Source: Condoleezza Rice, 4/8/04]
Ouch.

Not a whole lot of backup in that woman fer sure. Gotta admire that she refused to be bullied by those asking the questions. They asked a question and she was going to answer it (as is her right) fully and not be driven to simple 'yes' or 'no' responses that really explain nothing.
It is about time that these 'good ol' boys' realize that women are not weak kneed little sisters. As the old saying goes ' A dragon can eat you but a woman is truly dangerous!'

What A crock of bull! Was there any moment where she deviated from her prepared responses? Did she really give any firm answers?
Did she at any time do anything other than cover her a**? or shrubs?
no, no, no, and no!
I for one want the truth, unless you put this entire administration on a lie detector machine, or a psychotropic serum like sodium pentathol, we will never know when they were lying or not, and maybe not even then.
Impeach Bush!

Impeach Bush!
At this point it would take less time to just vote him out. Why not start a campaign instead? ^_-

Impeach Bush!Prepared responses? Hardly. She had no script, no points, not even any notes! Everything she said came straight from her personal account. It would take one hell of a liar to fake something like that without ever breaking eye contact and not having to stop and think.
Come on guys, you've given the Bush administration this damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don't policy.

Come on guys, you've given the Bush administration this damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don't policy.Except, if you follow the link to the Center for American Progress that I posted above, you can see how Rice's testimony was filled with, depending on how you look at it, lies or inaccuracies.
Personally, I don;t care if she was lying or not. If she was, then I want her and her boss gone. If she wasn't, she's incompetent, and I want her and her boss gone.

Well lets be honest, she handled herself in a very dignified way and she didn't come across as bitter at all. However, she did spend basically 3 hours being very articulate and smiling all the while giving answers she wanted to give and not always the ones she was being asked for.. of course she has been preparing for this since the day she learned she would have to testify, there is nothing odd or unusual about that. However in my opinion..being as objective as some one who hates the ground Bush walks on can be .. she spent most of the time wasting time... she said a lot and still managed to basically say nothing at all.. with the exception of the August 6th document which was pried out of her.

As for the August 6th document, they are working on getting it publicly declassified. but if I am correct, it is already declassified in private.
Either way, it is not easy to get stuff like that declassified. Look how hard it was just to get Condy to testify.

Didn't I see that right?
I saw papers and I saw her looking through those papers and looking down at them as she was talking.
I thought they were notes... :?
