I'm semiproud to be human!
Let's face it: the human thumb is a really great thing. By far the best part of the body.
The brain alas, is another story (generally speaking). It can handle quite wonderful stuff and keep the reptile part at bay at the same time, but there seems to some built-in nastiness left. Maybe in another 100.000 years it will be better, but untill that happens, the nastiness of the human mind drags down the level of proudness to a semi.
Why can't we all be like really good hippie friends? I'll start by declaring peace on every single one of you! :wink:

Nope, humans will always have the nastiness in them. There may be times of prolonged stability, but so long as people have differing views there will always be tension between them and a state of war always forthcoming.
