yes I am. I'm also watching the movie. I love both. well, I guess I'm better, all last week everything was "far away" - like I felt stoned, but I wasn't. also I was really dizzy and felt real weird. but I'm better now, I believe most of my symptoms were stress induced. ah well.

Am I correct in assuming you think/know/suspect you have the disorder? You are correct in believing they are sometimes stress induced; I've heard of people with Post Truamatic Stress Disorder experiencing similar symptoms, also people in considerable/chronic pain can develop it.

*EDIT*
Dammit I've got to start reading these posts more fully. You do think you have it. Sorry.

I'll try to scare up some links for you if you want, if I've got time I'll post them here later.

thanks. I know I don't have PTSD and I don't have chronic pain. just this awful sense that reality isn't real. I don't know. I've read stuff where this "condition" can be the aftermath of taking too many drugs. like it is mostly caused by the THC in pot. mine might have come about from the use of the narcotic Propoxy also. although I only did it 4 times! oh man. but this disorder really sucks. its like being in constant panic mode. and its bad when the room starts to spin and reality distances itself. I don't know. I guess this is a common disorder - or at least seems to be from the many personal stories I found on the main website about this disorder. like ... well, I know no one really wants to read all this but ... before I got this "condition" I went through a period of depression that lasted 12 months. then for about 3 months I was really happy - almost in a manic state. and now this. confusion and utter panic at almost all times. this is ten million times worse than any depression. I almost wish I could get my old self back - no I do wish I could. I hate feeling the way I do, and I just pray that I can get through the day without my world spinning out of control again. oh and by the way to anyone who read this ... thanks for listening. it really helps to talk (or rather, in this case) type about it. I understand there is no cure but maybe at some point in my life, I'll learn to control it.
