If you look at mainstream erotica throughout history, it's obvious that one of the most typical erotic fantasies is Threesome Sex or even Group Sex. Yet it's one of those ideas that few are willing to discuss.

BTW just to mention the idea does not mean one is promoting it. Hopefully people can be mature and non-judgemental about ideas which might not appeal to everybody. :)

I know many here will want to attack the very idea right off the bat as clearly immoral and unwise, but can y'all just stop for a second and ask just why this is such a very common erotic fantasy? It's really almost mainstream as a thought, though obviously not as an action!

CRAP! All I did was fix one tiny spelling mistake in my opening post and it messed up the Poll again. First it deleted the whole Poll, then I had to add-in the two duplicate questions just to get the Poll back on again. Clicking Edit does not reveal these extra poll options so I can't see how to remove them. If this site only had spellcheck like some other message boards do...

Jeez, finally...I was beginning to thing everyone at NationStates was a sexual bore - almost no comment on such a devisive topic (ie a most delicious idea to some people, a disgustingly sinful one to others).

The above idea is called "Polyamory", which is when two people in a loving & committed relationship agree to include others in their relationship romantically and/or sexually. Some couples happily live this way for decades, while others have big problems with jealousy and break apart.

A lot of times though there's no romance involved at all with group sex; it's just 3 or more unattached "f**k-buddies" getting together for sport sex. I'm guessing that this scenario happens more often than Polyamory does, but I could be wrong.
